In patients with colorectal cancer showed violations of the colon microbiocenosis, manifested either by a decrease in anaerobic microbiocenosis, or an increase in opportunistic bacteria. Against the background of preoperative preparation, conservative therapy and surgical intervention, the dysbiosis of the colon is progressing. As a result, a sharp increase in the number of saprophyte microbes with a high resistance to drugs is possible. The most famous representative of such microorganisms is the pathogenic strain of Clostridium difficile, often provoking the development of pseudomembranous colitis.
