Brief summary
We have revealed an activation of a planarian regeneration instead of their damage under the beam of low-temperature argon plasma. It was found an optimal conditions for the stimulation of the regenerative process, which are dependent on a duration of plasma action and a distance between the plasma generator and biological objects as well as a physiological state of animal. The irradiation of planarians immediately after their decapitation during 10 min with the distance of 8 cm activated planarian regeneration rate. The same irradiation of planarian in several hours after decapitation induced an inhibition of the regeneration process. Thus, the biological response after the low-temperature argon plasma irradiation is due to the regime of irradiation and the physiological state of animal.
