Brief summary

Survivors of childhood and adolescent cancer are the population of many severe health problems seen by many health care professionals, including oncologists, medical and pediatric specialists, surgeons, nurses, and social workers. In this article the questions of formation and problems of long-term follow-up clinics are discussed. The unified grading system of late effects can provide useful information for comparing long-term follow-up strategies. Recommendations for monitoring the long-term complications are also presented in the article.
