Brief summary
On a model of an experimental explosive wound of soft tissues of the femur in rats using laser Doppler flowmetry, optical tissue oximetry and laser fluorescence spectroscopy, it was found that in near-wounded tissues, pronounced disorders of microcirculation and redox processes develop, which indicates the developing tissue hypoxia. A single local near-wounded intramuscular injection of a 1,75% aqueous solution of hyaluronic acid (a mixture of high-, medium-, low-molecular-weight fragments into the damaged area 3 hours after the injury prevented the progression of the identified disorders, reduced the wound healing time in 1,5 times (p≤0,05). The most significant microcirculatory and metabolic effects of local injection intramuscular of hyaluronic acid were manifested 14 days after injury and persisted throughout the entire observation period (28 days). The results of the study serve as the basis for the development of a sanogenetically based treatment of explosive wounds of soft tissues in order to restore their functional activity in the area of damage.
