Brief summary
The paper shows that apolipoprotein AI (apoA-I) forms a complex with a female sex hormone - estrone. Calculated binding constant for complecses apoA-I-hormone. In the culture of rat hepatocytes demonstrated that complex apoA-I-estrone enhances the proliferation of rat hepatocytes against the simple hormone without a carrier. It is assumed that the resulting effect is realized by means of receptor-mediated endocytosis.
