Brief summary
In work (hemolitik) activity of metgemoglobin formers of various chemical groups was studied. Considering that metgemoglobin producer belong from different chemical classes with different dynamics metgemoglobin producer and clinical picture of acute poisoning, we performed a statistical evaluation of the diagnostic criteria of acute poisoning. These research show that the concentration of reduced glutathione in red blood cells, which can subsequently be used as a marker of impending hemolysis is the leading diagnostic criterion of hemolysis in acute poisoning of metgemoglobin producer.
