Brief summary
A metabolites of hexane, heptane and octane was determined in plasma samples, brain and liver of rats exposed to aliphatic hydrocarbons. Hexanone-2, heptanone-2 was determined in the liver and brain, hexanol-1 was found only in the brain. In the plasma samples was detected hexanone-2, heptanone-2, 1-octanol, 2,5-hexanedione. Dimethylpyrrolnorleucine was determined in blood by HPLC-MS. Metabolites of C9-C10 hydrocarbons have not been identified.
