Evaluation of systemic inflammation regression in the moderate acute diarrhea cases treated with standard methods

Brief summary
The paper presents the results on the observation of 135 adult acute diarrheal infection cases (46 shigellosis cases included) with the moderate severity disease course. The detected is the serum CRP level (quantity immunological method) at the acute disease stage and at the early convalescence period. The results suggest that there have been more than 6 time increase of median CRP level at the acute shigellosis stage. On the basis of CRP level dynamics there have been proposed the index named the inflammation regression coefficient (IRC) that happened to be associated with clinical syndrome manifestation.
