Influence of peptide preparations on the course of acute severe ethanol poisoning in the experiment

Brief summary
Acute ethyl alcohol poisoning remains a frequent type of exogenous intoxication, which is characterized by a high level of lethality at the pre-hospital stage, which requires further de-velopment of effective therapeutic agents. The study is devoted to the experimental evaluation of the protective effectiveness of semax and molixan as part of mono-and complex therapy in the course of preventive and therapeutic regimens for acute ethanol intoxication in doses from 0,75 to 2,0 LD50 in rats. It was found that molixan, semax and their combination protected ethanol poisoned animals. The most optimal was the use of a combination of peptides, which increased the survival with the introduction of ethanol in doses up to 1.5 LD50.
