Brief summary
In the article features of mental health of suicides with various types of postsuitsidal period are considered. 139 patients with critical, manipulative, analytical, suicidal-fixed types of postsuicide period were examined. The majority of the examined patients (29.5%) were diagnosed with mental disorders from the group "organic, including symptomatic, psychiatric disorders" (F00-F09), followed by "neurotic, stress-related and somatoform disorders" (20, 1%). The greatest severity of depressive symptoms, the general manifestation of psychopathological symptoms at admission was observed in persons with a suicidal-fixed type of postsuicide period. Persons with manipulative type of post suicide period require more attention of the psychiatric service, in this group the most frequent are multiple suicidal attempts (36.8%). In order to prevent repeated attempts, it is recommended that all suicides be hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital.
