Brief summary
Unsatisfactory results of treatment of patients with left colon cancer obstruction force to improve available ways of surgical treatment of patients with the given pathology. For the purpose of improvement of results of treatment of patients with a cancer of the left colon was used colonoscopic recanalisation of the tumor and intraoperative colon lavage. Application of this methods has allowed at the majority (25 from 29) patients to execute one-stage operations with primary anastomosis. Anastomosis inconsistence has occurred in one case, not demanded repeated operation. Postoperative mortality has made 3,4 %.
