The molecular mechanisms of energy supply disorders in the cells during hypoxia are considered. Deficiency of oxidized form NAD and increase NADН/NAD ratio lead to disruptions such as disorders of glycolysis, citric acid cycle, exchange of lipids and amino acids, activation of free-radical processes and apoptosis. The main directions of energy metabolism support therapy during hypoxia are formulated.
