Brief summary
The polisyndromial clinical symptomatology makes the problem of differentiating of porphyria especially acute intermittent porphyria and porphyria catenae tarda with other diseases very complex. We studied the main parameters of porphyries' and ferrum metabolism in 48 patients with inherited and acquired porphyria and compare the results of haemoformation in patients with inherited and secondary acquired porphyria. We find that disorder in porphyrine metabolism was associated with ferrum overload syndrome. The algorithm of studing of patients with hepatic dysfunction has been developed. The algorithm includes the studying of hepatic transaminases and basal parameters of porphyrine and ferrum metabolism.
