Assessment of psycho-physiological components of adaptation of cadets of military educational institutions
Federal State Fiscal Military Educational Establishment of Higher Professional Education Military Medical Academy after S.M. Kirov of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation
Brief summary
Studied psycho-physiological components of adaptation of cadets
of the mesomorphic and ectomorphic somatotype during the period of study at the military College. Statistically significant differences of indicators of physical development and physical readiness of cadets of mesomorphic and ectomorphic somatotypes are revealed. It is established that in the group of cadets of mesomorphic type, in comparison with ectomorphic type, there
is a statistically significant increase (from p<0.05 to p<0.01) in the indices of heart rate
and arterial pressure in functional tests, as well as an increase (from p<0.05 to p<0.01)
in the index of effectiveness of techniques, numerical series, visual memory, figurative thinking and arithmetic counting in cadets of mesomorphic type in comparison with cadets
of ectomorphic type. Dynamics of psychophysiological characteristics of different somatotypic groups of cadets allows to determine that cadets of mesomorphic self-type in comparison
with cadets of ectomorphic type have stable regularities in response to psychophysiological loads during training, and that adaptation to training conditions of cadets of mesomorphic type is more adequate. Thus, psychophysiological components of adaptation of cadets of mesomorphic type more correspond to the requirements of the chosen profession than cadets of ectomorphic type.
