Brief summary
The aim of the study was to determine the role of pituitary - prolactin (PL), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) and steroid hormones - total testosterone (T), progesterone (PG) and estradiol (E) in serum in 154 women with cystic breast degeneration , divided into subgroups depending on the age period. Of these, 116 - with solitary cysts and 38 with multiple cysts of the breast. Revealed significant changes in hormonal parameters in patients with multiple and solitary cysts in the breast peri-postmenopauzalnom age, and in the ratio of FSH/LH in patients with multiple cysts of the breast in their early reproductive age patients with solitary cysts in peri-postmenopausal age.
