Features of the exchange of sialoglycoproteins in the tissues of the liver, stomach and small intestine in experimental non-alcoholic fatty and alcoholic liver diseases

Brief summary
This study compares the features of the exchange of sialoglycoproteins in the liver and mucous membranes of the stomach and small intestine of rats in experimental models of non-alcoholic fatty and alcoholic liver diseases. The metabolism of sialoglycoproteins showed the predominance of their processes of anabolism in the mucous membrane of the stomach and small intestine in rat NAFLD, while catabolism with an increase in sialic acids in the mucus of the small intestine was observed in alcoholized animals.
