Brief summary
A comparative analysis of mechanisms of action of the most clinically demanded representatives of main groups of antioxidants has been carried out. The features of their antioxidant effect in conditions of poisoning with toxic substances have been characterized. The possibilities of combination of antioxidants providing potentiation of the therapeutic effect have been pathogenetically substantiated. Ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate, acetylcysteine, sodium dimercaptopropanesulfonate monohydrate and melatonin were proposed for further research.
