Brief summary

Relevance: Acute cholangitis is one of the actual problems of modern surgery. Despite significant advances in improving approaches to the treatment of this disease, many aspects remain unsolved. These include the insufficient study of the issue of the possibility of using one-stage hybrid interventions in patients with acute cholangitis caused by cholecystocholedocholithiasis. Purpose: Implementation and study of the results of hybrid surgical interventions in patients with mild benign cholangitis. Materials and methods: The prospective study included 117 patients with cholecystocholedocholithiasis complicated by acute mild and moderate cholangitis, who underwent various types of hybrid surgical interventions as an alternative to the traditional two-stage tactics of acute cholangitis treatment. Results: The success of eliminating the biliary block was 96.6%, complications occurred in 6.8% of cases, while repeated minimally invasive interventions were required in 3.4% of cases, mortality rate was 1.7%. Conclusions: Hybrid surgical interventions can be used in the treatment of cholecystocholedocholithiasis complicated by acute cholangitis.
