Brief summary

A comparative assessment of the quality of platelet concentrates and donor plasma, obtained by the method of apheresis with the use of apparatus-fractionators in a combination of donors. It has been established that the combined production of two blood components from one donor by the apheresis method does not reduce the quality of platelet concentrate and plasma. The quality indices of platelet concentrates and plasma obtained by the method of apheresis in active (personnel) donors corresponded to the requirements of national and international standards.

Key words

combined donation, apheresis, platelet concentrate, plasma, quality control.
