Модификация концепции сердечно-сосудистого континуума на основе представлений о коморбидности и метавоспалении.

Резюме
Основной причиной смертности в современную эпоху в мире являются сердечно-сосудистые заболевания. В их прогрессировании ключевая роль придается коморбидным состояниям, среди которых основное место занимают гипертоническая болезнь, метаболический синдром, сахарный диабет, хроническая обструктивная болезнь легких. Все эти состояния тесно связаны с синдромом вялотекущего хронического системного воспаления или метавоспалением. Целесообразно добавить это важное понятие в известную схему сердечно-сосудистого континуума, модификация которой с учетом новой информации приведена в статье.
