Brief summary

Catatonic schizophrenia is most often found in clinical practice from year to year. The course of catatonic schizophrenia is nonlinear, variable speed of syndrome deployment is the result of latent pathogenetic process. In this article we analyzed some parameters such as duration of hospitalization, number of hospitalizations, the severity of catatonic symptoms in admission, length of illness. According to the study findings, there is "plateau" after six or five exacerbations. After this "plateau" there is a qualitative changes of the course of catatonic schizophrenia. We identified the most commonly scenarios.

Key words
