Brief summary
The article describes the ability of magnetic resonance tomography to depict the anatomy of anal channel and perianal tissues. Diagnostic accuracy of magnetic resonance tomography in T-staging and local spread evaluation of anal carcinoma is assessed basing on 34 cases. High diagnostic values of method in anal anatomy visualization and local staging of anal cancer was shown.
