Brief summary

«Date rape drugs» refers to a large group of psychoactive substances used to facilitate sexual assault. This phenomenon is relatively new to the russian medical science. At the same time in USA and Western Europe the violence frequency with previous use of psychoactive substances has been steadily increasing. The work examines the terms related to the problem, summarizes the results of sexual assault victims biosamples identification. An attempt was made to classify known to «date rape drugs».
