The algorithm of the intestinal detoxication in complex therapy of acute oral poisonings

Brief summary

In 1085 cases of heavy and middle grade poisonings by medical preparations enteral detoxiation was used in composition of probe washing of the stomach, enterosorbtion and intestinal lavage (continuous, fractious and without stomach tube) and stimulation of propulsive function of intestine by serotonin adipinat. Temporal priority of enteral detoxiation is set before the use of methods of blood clearing. Early application of enteral detoxiation is accompanied by acceleration of rate of leadingout of toksikants 1,6–4,2 time fold due to the considerable improvement of indicators of propulsive intestine performance. The intermittent course of intoxication is prevented or its frequency is diminishing sharply (17,7 time fold), duration of the comatose state and period of renewal of clear consciousness is shortening (1,8–4,3 time fold). Lethality is prevented or considerably (6,9–15,3 time fold) diminishes in toxicogenic and the somatogenic stages, and lethality in cases of development of pneumonias also diminishes; frequency of pneumonias goes down 1,5–3,5 time fold; the terms of stay of patients in ICU are shortening (1,5–4,9 time fold) and general terms of treatment are shortening too (1,5–3,2 time fold).
