Streptococcosis or streptococcal infections are an important problem for the health of servicemen and activity of medical service in prevention of infectious diseases. Streptococcosis cause many different diseases, their complications, adverse effects and outcomes in military units. Data about levels, structure and intraannual dynamics of streptococcal infections in military collectives is presented. The relation between levels of disease with the arrival of recruits in military units, environmental conditions and influence of some meteorological factors is shown. Prospects for rationalization the prevention of diseases at servicemen on the basis of modern notions about the general laws of epidemic process of streptococcosis and features of certain diseases in military collectives are discussed.
